Vocational Training
The Bridge Culinary Program has an overall purpose of teaching residents skills that could bring them out of their old ways and into a successful and ever expanding field.
Certification
The Bridge Culinary Program offers residents the opportunity to become culinary students. By enrolling in an online course curriculum called Rouxbe, they are able to learn new skills & achieve a certification through bookwork and practical kitchen lessons.
Graduation
At our annual graduation ceremony, residents are presented with a certificate of completion from The Bridge Culinary Program to go alongside their Rouxbe certification.
Our hope is that the skills learned by residents durning their time in the program will be applicable to future job opportunities in the hospitality industry in Monterey Bay and beyond.
