Vocational Training

 

While in The Bridge 12-month Discipleship Training Program, men have the awesome opportunity to learn a trade that they can use after graduation. This serves three purposes:

  • Builds self esteem, and a sense of accomplishment in the area of work ethics (Phil. 2:29 / Prov. 13:19).
  • The opportunity to provide for themselves and their families upon graduation from the program (Prov. 14:23 / 2 Thess. 3:10).
  • Helps to provide the necessary income the Ministry needs to continue serving others.

 

The areas currently available for Vocational Training are:

  • Painting
  • General Construction
  • Property Maintenance
  • Custodial Services
  • Bicycle Repair and Sales

 

Future Vocational Areas Include:

  • Auto Detailing (Planned for 2007)
  • Landscaping (Planned for 2007)
  • Print Shop Management (Planned for 2008)
  • Auto Donations and Sales (Planned for 2008)
  • Restaurant Management (Planned for 2009)
